PostSubject: Everyday is Cake Day!!   Sat Sep 26, 2015 8:59 am

In a small cake shop, near the main street, sat a girl with burning red hair, looking onto the busy street with a glaring stare. That was Alice! She had ordered two cakes and they had yet to arrive at her table, which was the reason for her somewhat bad mood. How long could it take to cut a cake into serviceable pieces and put it in front of her? The coffee had been there a lot faster and slightly calmed her, thanks to five spoons full of sugar in it. Yet her mood was shifting more and more towards a bad direction.

Meanwhile the waitress had decided to take a phone call from her boyfriend instead of serving the hungry guests. Giggling and talking about stuff only stupid bitches like her cared about.

Without knowing Alice was really struggling to sit still. She had already looked at her watch two time within the last minute and had already changed to just eating spoons of sugar by themselves. The cake was urged, she had not eaten at all this day and as the watch told her a third time within the last minute it was already past noon!

On the other side of the shop, stood two pieces of cakes waiting to be delivered as the the phone conversation had shifted to which colour of lipstick the waitress should put on for the next date and even more important how much she was looking forward to wearing the new dress she had gotten a day before.

Biting on her lower lip Alice had enough and decided to go looking for her food. With an even worse glare she entered the shop and scanned the area for the girl from which she had ordered, finding her rather quickly right next to the ordered goods...

About five seconds later a brand new mobile phone flew across the street, followed by a hysterical screaming girl in a waitress uniform!

It was a sunny day and just made for some cake. Especially the orange cake from the small shop at the main street was delicious and Alice loved that cake. It began to melt in her mouth with every spoon full, as the girl carried the plate in her hand, before she sat down under one of the umbrellas in front of the shop. The soft wind that ran down the street just added to the pleasure. If Alice had to rate the day it was almost a perfect ten! Too bad she had to hurry with finishing the cake, since there was a very loud, bitchy and upset girl yelling at her...

Melanie's life had changed completely the past few months. Who would have thought one's life could have been turned upside down from something as mundane as a Kung Fu class? Training her body at the same time she honed her spirituality awakened the kind of power she never even concieved to ever posess. The power to not only manifest an aura, but to split it into its Yin and Yang halves; they called it "Nen" or something like that, while Melanie herself had taken to calling it "Yin-Yang Release". In the end, her sifu advised her to travel, so after saying her goodbyes to her family, she found herself a cruise ship and travelled all the way to the Azian Continent, eventually arriving at the port of Zaban.

Now, what to do? Stepping out of the boat, Melanie pulled a large trolley suitcase behind her and made way through the busy streets, brushing her hair away from her face and slipping on sunglasses. She wore a sailor styled outfit with a red skirt she purchased on the boat and had her hair held up in a ponytail. She looked stylish as ever, though not as much as she normally did.

"A pâtisserie!", she thought out loud as something caught her attention, or rather, plenty of somethings. A phone suddenly flying out of the door of a cake shop had her staring at the sweets, her hungry mouth watering. All of these cakes and éclairs looked delicious! But what would she pick? She looked at the window indecisively, finally looking around and finding a pretty girl eating not one but two cakes. She looked like a reliable person to ask for help, so Melanie flashed her prettiest smile and greeted her, "Hey there! You seem to know your cakes; which among these would you recommend?"

Of course, food wasn't the only thing she was hungry for. Melanie had hit a dry spell lately and she wasn't too keen on those. She hadn't slept with anyone in the past three days; she must be losing her touch... She looked into the girl's amber eyes with a friendly look, pulling off her sunglasses...

Alice was just about to take another bite from her orange cake and then change to the blueberry one, when she was approached by a young girl. For a moment she looked up and thought a bit about the situation. “Right now is kinda baaad”, she laughed as her eyes shifted over to the waitress which was approaching her fast and then slammed her hand on the table, before she continued yelling: “ARE YOU CRAZY!? DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW MUCH THIS PHONE COSTS!?”

Alice gave it another moment to finish the first cake, then got up and glaring at the woman that had not delivered her food on time. “Let me see the phone!” She answered quickly and held out her hand to receive it. The waitress hesitated, but then slowly handed it to Alice. “I'm really sorry I threw it onto the street.” The phone was covered in scratches, but the display seemed to work just fine. “Because I forgot how hard it is to break a phone nowadays.” Following those words she let it slide through her fingers, fall onto the ground in front of her feet and started stomping on it furiously, while the waitress just stared at her in shock, at both the lose of her phone and the mad smile on Alice's face.

In between two stomps the girl remembered that a third person was present. “Ah I recommend the orange cake, but as you can see...”, before she could finish the waitress tackled her to stop the attack on the phone and threw both of them onto the table. The woman had more courage than Alice had expected from a waitress. The table got flung over and the second cake flung into the air. While the waitress tried to free herself from Alice, who had rolled off the table and pinned the other girl onto the ground. “CATCH IT!” She quickly yelled towards the other girl, as her eyes followed the cake's way up into the air, her hands already occupied with other things.

"Oh...?", asked a curious Melanie, who tried to figure out why that might be before asking the question, only to turn and see an angry waitress come at her yelling and screaming her lungs out, and reflexively taking a step back to give the two enough space.

Watching the argument unfold, Melanie heard the redhead confess to being responsible for the flying phone she saw earlier, only to crush it beneath her foot. She had to wonder what was the deal with these two. Had this waitress slept with the redhead's boyfriend or something? Maybe the other way around? The only times Melanie had been on the recieving end of such rage was due to situations such as those. Still, it was none of her business...

"Orange cake it is, then. Thanks for the tip!", Melanie placed her suitcase next to another table, casually finding herself a place to sit and ordering a slice of cake and a cup of coffee from a nearby waiter. Her nonchalance was remarkable, as if there wasn't a catfight going on next to her: It looked almost humorous to see her calmly watch the two girls fight as if it were nothing out of the ordinary. The redhead seemed to have the upper hand for the time being, but then her cake got flung into the air. With quick reflexes and a fast movement, Melly quickly caught the dish first and then the cake over it; all that training in Martial arts had more uses than just fighting. She smiled and put the girl's cake on her own table, smiling reassuringly, "Don't worry, your cake is safe."

This was her way to invite the girl to sit with her since her original table had been destroyed; a convenient excuse... Fortunately it had been the waitress who attacked, so Melanie just sat down on her table calmly, sipping her coffee as she awaited for her cake and watched the catfight unfold.

As the cake was caught, quite elegantly and put into a save place Alice let out a loud sigh of relief, before she turned back to the girl below her, who was still struggling to free herself from Alice. For a moment her arm broke free from the redheads grasp and flew up for a heavy slap on Alice's face. “Are you stupid?” Alice just asked surprisingly calm, before reaching back and then hammering her fist with full force into the waitress' face. “You stupid bitch, in a fight you do not slap others, you punch them!” She began to laugh as she prepared for another punch, but got stopped by another waiter just in time, which pulled her back onto her feet and gave her an angry glare. “She hit me first. Keep your own staff under control!” Complained Alice without shame, even if she was the one that had started the whole mess originally. The man looked honestly shocked at the girls brazenness, but he tried to be reasonable. “Finish your cake, then get out of here you brat and I don't want to see you again.”

Alice smiled, it was good enough, she still got to finish the cake and she managed to have some fun. “Fiiiiiiiine”, she replied with a dirty smirk, swinging her view towards said cake and then slowly making her way over, stepping over the knocked out waitress and onto the remains of her phone again as if it was nothing. Then as if still nothing had happened she put on a smile and sat down on the table across the other girl. “Thanks for catching it.” Her cheek was still slightly red from the slap and as she reached for a fork, a little blood was visible on her knuckles. Noticing it she looked towards the waitress again, which was getting carried away. “New phone and new nose, that's expensive”, she said quietly, but could not help to giggle and licked the blood from her hand, before it could get onto her cake. Which, thinking about it, made no sense, since the blood ended up in her mouth either way.

She had almost forgotten about the person across from her, by the time she had split of a piece and lead it to her mouth. The blueberry cake was excellent too! Just after she had swallowed she looked across the table and leaned in a bit. “Ah I forgot to introduce myself!” With her good mood it was not hard to hold a bright smile, even if it was not directly aimed at the other girl. “I'm Alice.”

She saw the waitress escalate the fight to slapping, and then the redhead escalating it further with a punch to the face, and their tussle went on as another waiter came by, delivering Melanie's cake and then proceeding to interfere and stop the cute redhead from making the pretty waitress significantly less attractive. The dark haired girl had no idea what happened here, or if the waitress had done anything to deserve the other girl's wrath, but once the fight was put to an end, Melanie ate a piece of her cake as the victor sat in front of her:

"You're welcome; It would be a shame to let such a good cake go to waste.", commented an appreciating Melanie who was clearly enjoying Alice's recommendation, "I'm Melanie, lovely to meet you!"

The girl's gesture of eagerly licking her wounds didn't escape Melly's curious gaze, who associated it with a certain bloodthirst. This pretty redhead clearly had a taste for violence at the very least. Thought some might think this would be enough to deter Melanie's hidden intentions, it just spurred her on: Nothing could stave off boredom like a wild ride. Putting another piece of cake into her mouth, she raised one hand in front of it pointed the small fork towards the downed waitress:

"What was that all about?", she'd ask curiously, taking another sip from her coffee and looking into Alice's amber eyes, intrigued

“Oh, she spend her time talking on the phone, instead of delivering my cake.” Explained Alice rather nonchalant. “So I threw that phone across the street and I guess you saw everything else.” With that out of the way she focused solely on the sweat delight on the table again. Letting out a soft purr of joy after the next bite. It was really worth all the hassle, which actually just added to the enjoyment. Too bad that the plate was almost empty and she was told that this was her last piece... but what if someone else ordered her the cake...

Slowly her eyes travelled from the the empty plate to the dark haired girl again. “How about you order yourself like two or three more cakes? A second cup of coffee too maybe?” As she proposed that she leaned onto the table and towards the beauty again. “I wouldn't want our meeting to end so quick, just because I can't order anything here any more.” Alice was not as stupid as she sometimes seemed, she had noticed that the other girl's eyes were practically glued to her own and she knew that a crazy person like herself sometimes not only attracted people, but also people that saw her craziness as novelty and maybe she could use that for her advantage. She brushed a strand of hair from her left eye, so she answer the other girl's look with both of her cat like amber eyes.

She kept eating her own cake and sipping her coffee as the pretty redhead explained the cause behind her catfight. Apparently it wasn't any romantic trouble or anything of the sort like she imagined, instead it was just a delay in serving her food. The kind of thing an average person wouldn't have done anything about or just went inside to complain, but Alice took it a step further:

"That escalated quickly...", she quipped playfully, wondering if Alice was truly just crazy or if she had a bad day on top of it. But then it became clear that if the girl was a lunatic, she was certainly a functional one, picking up Melanie's intrigued gaze. Melanie returned her smile with a wink and a mischievous smirk, "I think we can help each other out. I've only just arrived and I could use someone to show me around the city."

Alice clearly wasn't shy about using her allure to get what she wanted, Melanie had done that enough to pick it up a mile away. Now this was something she could both understand and respect, but she didn't have any intention to resist it: Quite the opposite, she'd play right into her hands. In the end, they both had simple desires, Alice wanted cake while Melanie wanted her cake:

"...How does that sound?", she'd further entice the redhead by gently pushing her own slice of cake towards her, inviting her to share it, and finally ordering some more food and another coffee from another waiter.

The offer was not bad, but it seemed a bit dull to Alice. “So you just want a tour through the city?” She paused to stuff her face with more cake, with the fork Melanie had used before, not giving it a second through and only after she had completely finished it she continued: “Honestly that sounds a bit dull, but I guess that's fine.”

After a bit shrug she just stretched over the table and took Melanie's cup of coffee to make the cake go down a bit easier, not without adding two spoons of sugar, as if it was her cup before. Alice had settled on the fact that she just could do whatever she wanted and it remained at least to some degree acceptable to the dark haired girl, maybe she even found it even more enticing to see that side of her.

Melanie was good to keep her entertained while she enjoyed the coffee and cake and so she continued their conversation: “Why did you come to Zaban, Mel?” Then she took another sip. “Are you on a journey too?”

Alice was not really on a journey, as she was much more on a search for something exciting to do and meanwhile gathered informations about the Hunter Organisation, since Hunters had the most exciting occupation, as far as she knew. On top of that, she already knew that all Hunter were masterful fighters and able to use Nen, which made just finding one of them for a nice brawl an exciting proposition. Maybe “Mel”, had some information or similar interests and a travel partner that bought her sweets would be a great help.

They only had one fork and Alice didn't mind using hers, but Melanie still wanted to eat, so she regularly reached out across the table, grabbed her hand gently and lead some pieces of orange cake into her own mouth instead. Of course if the gluttonous Alice didn't let go of the fork she'd end up feeding Melanie half the time. Fortunately:

"I wouldn't know; I was hoping there'd be something interesting to see in this city.", she shrugged and admitted to her ignorance, smiling before raising a quizzical eyebrow. Was Alice playing the same game as Melanie? That's what it sounded like, "What would you do for fun then?"

Soon enough, more food arrived. Another cup of coffee, a slice of Orange cake and a slice of Sachertorte, as well as another fork. Personally, Melanie preferred chocolate cakes, but she could enjoy all kinds of them.

"Indeed. My Master advised me to travel, to better hone my skills. Zaban felt like a good place to start, so here I am!", she said the last part pretty nonchalantly, shrugging and smiling innocently, as if it was something she had decided on a whim, which was partially true. She left out the part about her wierd Aura power - "Nen" as Sifu called it - but that was hardly the right topic for someone she had just met, "What about you, Ali; are you from Zaban?"

Of course, finding herself on a strange land without a single friend was incredibly lonely and often boring, so Ali's company was a welcome change, as well as potential stress relief if they got that far...

“If I remember right there are some, somewhat interesting places, I guess visiting them wouldn't be too bad”, answered Alice and leaned closer, suggesting Melanie to pay back the deed and feed a fork full directly into the gluttons mouth, by opening it wide. She let the girl feed her a few forks, which was actually quite fun and changed the whole way of eating up a bit. As she was leaning across the table she unknowingly presenter her cleavage quite well for the other girl to see, but Alice only had cake on her mind and almost let out small moans of bliss with each bite. “But actually, all I really do is look for fun things to do, sadly it is a bit quiet in this city.”

She took a sip of coffee and took her time to think for a bit. “Maybe the nearby wetlands would be more fun, but I actually want to head to a bigger place, like Heavens Arena.” As for the question of her own origin she did not really have much of an answer, as she did not know, the next best older woman with red hair walking down the street might as well have been her mother, or maybe an aunt, she did not know. The best answer she could find was: “Probably from somewhere around here. I mostly grew up in orphanages.” The girl felt no need to hide that, as she had no consideration for the mood or any kind of regrets about her life.

“Ah what I want to do before leaving the city is take a look at it from above the clock tower over there, so how about we go there?” She still switched the topic for no reason and pointed past Mel to a church's clock tower a bit in the distance. She vaguely remembered trying to get into it before, but some guards had stopped her, that alone made her want to climb it even more.

The girl opened her mouth and Melanie let out a playful giggle, promptly feeding her some chocolate cake in her mouth, and unwittingly providing the sex addict with a good view into her shirt. The dark haired girl casually let her gaze linger there every now and then, Alice's beauty was worth admiring anyways, particularly that ample cleavage she so happily displayed: Both of them seemed quite satisfied with their respective vices being indulged somewhat. She then suggested the nearby wetlands as an alternative too the mostly boring city:

"Either of those sound interesting. That Heaven's arena especially...", answered Melanie, not sure whether it hosted fighting or other sports, but intrigued either way. Her impish smirk faded somewhat once the girl answered her next question; saying she had grown up in Orphanages and wasn't sure about her origins, "I'm sorry to hear..."

She didn't feel any urge to share her happy childhood when Alice confessed to what had likely been a lonely, possibly miserable one, and it was a very clear reminder of why the choice not to judge people was the right one. Granted, the girl obviously had a few screws loose, but then, who doesn't? She most likely had a reason for that anyway. Eating another good bit of chocolate cake, Melanie turned her head behind her towards where Alice was pointing: There was indeed a very large clock tower behind her, which stood out as an obvious landmark:

"The view must be incredible from up there... I say let's do it!", wondered Melanie, clearly curious about checking it out for herself.

Alice noticed her new friends mood swing as she mentioned the orphanage. It was weird to here that a lot of people reacted similar, but to her it was no big deal. With the girl agreeing to visit the clock tower she had to finish the cake up first. It did not make Alice eat quicker, she felt full with cake, which was rare and at a point where even the sweetest desert could not find another place in her belly.

After just another two bites Alice jumped up and grabbed Melanie to drag her along with her. “I can't order here any more anyway, so no point in paying!” She declared, if her new friend wanted to eat there again she had to live with that, because Alice's hand had no plan of letting go of the girl. “Ah before I forget it and I tend to forget such things, no reason to feel bad about my whole past or be sorry about it.” With Melanie in hand she swung around, giving the girl a bit of a swing herself and barely held the motion right before their face would have hit each other, then stared the other girl in the eyes. She had planed it a bit differently, but it was not too bad, even if the sudden closeness made her blush a little. “The orphanages were fun for a while, too bad most of them either closed or burned down.” If it had not been obvious to Mel before, this close the crazy in Alice's eyes was clearly visible, as she stared into dark red eyes as if she wanted to set them on fire.

Without any explanation for her behaviour or words she swung around again and continued her way. She could not wait to get to the church!

Melanie chuckled more as she found Alice's company incredibly interesting. She had done her few dine and dash routines in the past, but as a general rule, she didn't enjoy doing so when the place was good enough to eat again. This one was, but chasing after the crazy, sexy redhead was more important than a single pâtisserie. She shrugged off her concern over her past as Melanie just ensured she wouldn't lose anything she might miss:

"And here I was hoping to eat here again... Oh well.", Melanie lamented as all she could do was grab hold of her suitcase. She gasped when Alice suddently stopped and turned around and stared into her eyes, leaving the two girls a mere inch from each other, smiling and blushing as she found this heart racing feeling to be the best part of seducing someone new. She whispered words of praise to the other girl, impressed by how nonchalant she was about her sad past, "You have buried the past completely... That's hard for most people."

She rested her forehead against Alice's, slowly and instinctively drawing her lips closer - almost imperceptibly so - only being interruped by her turning around just as suddenly and leading her towards the church. Melanie kept up with her pace easily, only having to worry about dragging her suitcase behind her. All that craziness didn't drive the raven haired girl away, not even a little bit. It just made her more curious as to how crazy she'd be in bed once all those clothes and masks were torn off entirely... For now, she settled on following her until they got closer to the church:

"I do hope it's not completely packed with tourists..."

“Nah, I don''t bury anything.” Replied Alice quickly. Ashes did not need to be buried. She increased her pace a bit, not worried about the dark haired girl to keep pace, as long as she had a firm hold of her wrist she would not lose her that easy. “Also don't worry the church does not let anyone in to begin with, so there won't be any tourists.”

As she made it clear that they would not just use the normal entrance to the place they both reached it. Tall fences surrounded a small garden, in which the church itself stood. The tower was even taller from up close and overshadowed every other building in the area. “Last time I climbing over the fences around here and got stopped when I tried sneak into the building.” Explained Alice to her new accomplice. “I think it is better to just climb the outside. What do you think?” Alice idea sounded a bit crazy, but she had seen it done multiple times in video games: Those old churches had plenty of places to hold onto while climbing the tower and when jumping down there was a stack of hay to cushion the fall.

While she waited for an answer she let go of Mel's wrist and started to scan the area for any signs of guards, which she could not spot at any of in the garden. Last time it had been the same, the garden was far too easy to get into.

The girl just mentioned that ashes didn't need to be buried... In Melly's mind, she just had her own way of looking at things and this implied she would rather be cremated than buried. The result was the same, she had given her past a proper funeral and instead looked towards the future. She dismissed Mel's concern regarding tourists and instead said they'd be entering a restricted area. With that in mind, Melanie sought out a crevice to stash her suitcase in, she wouldn't be breaking and entering with all that weight in tow:

"I think you've been playing too much 'Assassin's creed'.", teased Melanie with a playful grin, "But I can do it easily enough."

Climbing had never been her strong suit, but ever since unlocking her hidden power and all that awareness that came with it, this hardly seemed to be a difficult task. It was well within Melanie's abilities to do so and it meant that once they got up there they would have all that view with nobody else to bother them. Alone at last... Slipping on a pair of white fingerless gloves, she turned to Alice with a determined stare as she grabbed on to the fence:

"You ready for this?", she would dare her, eager to get started. This sounded like fun! Melanie would climb over the fence very quickly once she saw that nobody was staring at them...

The sun was now setting, giving the two of them a little bit more privacy. She would then await for Alice on the other side of the fence as she inspected the clock tower to see how to best go about climbing it. A trained athelete and martial artist, she enjoyed a kind of challenge like this, the type she hadn't experienced in a good few months, hell, years even.

Without much preparation and any second toughs Alice followed her friend over the fence. “I actually never climbed something this tall.” Admitted the misfit girl. The tallest thing she had ever climbed was a two store house and she had gotten help by a tree when she did so. Near the church stood no trees at all. The only thing in the garden were some flowers and herbs. She remembered hearing that the church pretty much invented modern herb medicine.

“I go first, if I fall you catch me, okay? Lets get on the roof first.” Alice pointed up to the two stories tall church roof. Along the way there were plenty of cracks and ornaments in the stone, which offered a place or two to hold onto, it was still smarter to climb one after another. In case one of them slipped.

Alice decided to take a running start and jump all the way up to one of the stone ornaments on the wall, barely getting hold of it, before she lost her grip. She took a quick look down at Mel, which had a perfect view at the blue and white striped panties under Alice's old school uniform skirt. Since both of them where girls, Alice did not even consider that a problem.

The next step for the novice climber was to dig her fingers deep into a crack and pull up again, then again and lastly getting hold of the rain gutter she pulled her upper body over the roof's edge, from where she took another look down, with a confident smile.

Alice followed her soon enough, and they had crossed into the church's garden. Only the tower now stood before them, imposing as ever, almost daring them to find their way up there. Though her friend confessed to never having climbed something this high, when would that ever be a deterrent?

"Neither have I...", answered Melly before grinning as she often did and shrugging it off, "But there's a first time for everything right? Just climb, no worries."

She had done her fair share of climbing with gym equipment as well as all her training in acrobatics, but she never actually put any of that to practice. With the awareness that came with her training, Melanie now felt confident doing something she wouldn't even have dared a few months back, and confidence was half the battle. She climbed up after Alice, grabbing onto the nooks and crannies, and requiring a great deal of self control to avoid getting distracted by the girl's striped panties. This whole climbing ordered offered her one hell of a view; Melly was starting to feel like this was the best part of hanging out with Ali: She offered plenty of those.

"That wasn't so hard now, was it?", she asked while lifting herself off the edge and up onto the roof. They would have a great view of the sunset from up here.

Alice did her best to lend Melanie a hand as she reached the roof too. The view was already pretty good, but for sunset viewing a better spot waited. “Well, we are not there yet.” She swung her arm upwards and pointed at the at least two times as tall bell tower. Next she shifted her pointing finger towards the base of the tower, where a small wooden door waited. The use for it was most likely to access the roof for cleaning, maybe even to install Christmas decorations. “Seems like we will be taking stairs for the next part.”

As she said that she tried to pull open the door, realizing rather quick that it was locked, but a wooden door was not going to stop her that easily! First she tried it with a heavy kick towards the lock, just trying to bust it with force. The lock held onto it rather well, but she had some more tricks up her sleeve. “Hey Mel, gonna show you something really cool.” She smirked and took a few steps backwards, then stretched her arm backwards and focused a moment. A thick beam of red flames burst from her hand, twitching in the air violently, before calming down to take up the form of a giant sword. Alice's palm closed around the hot handle, flames were still running from one end of the sword to the other pushed by the wind. As if it was nothing Alice swung the sword up into the air and then back down onto the door, cutting straight through the wood, leaving scorch marks along with it and then breaking up into flames and disappearing as if the giant claymore had not been there at all.

Alice was ecstatic: “Really cool right? Right?”

"Thanks.", she smiled and grabbed hold of her friend's hand to better climb onto the roof. The girl wanted to climb even higher, earing a playful chuckle from Melanie who just rested one hand on her hip, "I guess the sky is the limit for you, huh?"

She watched as Ali first tried pulling the door open, and then mercilessly kicked the lock. Just as she was getting ready to walk up there and punch it open herself, the redhead caught her attention, prompting Melly to hang back and watch her with an intrigued look on her face. Her eyes widened when she felt the girl's aura stirring and from it, a flaming red sword appeared:

"Ooooh, impressive!", applauded a surprised Melly, amazed by the coincidence of running into another aura wielder like this. Guess her master was right about how travelling would be good for her, "To think you would be an Aura user too..."

Regardless, she'd hold on to Ali's hand and start walking up the stairs quickly; they would have a lot of time to discuss their abilities up there:

"Hurry or we'll miss the sunset!", she urged

“That's all? You could really sound a bit more impressed.” Sighed Alice as she followed Mel up the stairs. “I mean its a giant, at least three meter long sword.” She sounded a bit bothered. “And it was on fire, come oooon.”

Her complains were abruptly interrupted by the view from the bell tower. It was incredible beautiful. From one end to another, the whole town was tinted in a deep orange. In the far distance were the even now foggy Numere Wetlands and as her view shifted up she was greeted by the endless sky, dyed in all colours of fire. For a Moment she was almost speechless. Almost! “I mean did you even look at the sword? I summoned it out of tin air and all you have to say is 'impressive'?”

The lack of response from her friend really drove her crazy. “Also it is called Nen User, Aura is just the energy source.” With another loud sigh she sat down on the edge of the open bell tower, the giant bell behind her and stretched her legs out over the edge, just slightly holding onto a pillar. Even when a bit annoyed, because of the amazing view she could not stop smiling.

Seeing how upset her friend had been for her short praise, Melanie saw it as the perfect opportunity to put the moves on her, reaching for the girl's shoulders and staring deep into her eyes with an alluring smile:

"I was that short for words... To think the first person I would meet here would have such an ability, the tides of fate are nothing short of surprising.", she spoke frankly, spilling her heart out in an almost poetic manner, "Your flames were bright, created the most gorgeous show dancing around the blade. That was a wonderful, amazing technique Ali-chan, almost as beautiful as you. Almost..."

She'd then let out a playful chuckle as she'd leave her arm around Ali's shoulder, standing beside her as the watched the sunset. Her flowing crimson hair, fluttering around her against the red sunset created a most dazzling display of color that only made the whole view much more enjoyable.

"I just called it Aura, didn't know it had a proper name until today... What else do you know about it?", inquired Melanie, her curious gaze shifting between Alice and the sunset moving past the horizon...

With a look on her face that made it clear, that she did not believe Mel's sudden enthusiasm, Alice turned towards the other girl. “Well all I know is that it uses your Aura, there are multiple steps to it.” The redhead had trouble remembering it all, since she had awoken to her abilities on her own, but she had heard a bit of it from a novice Hunter that tried to hit on her once. “First there is releasing it, then containing it and strengthening it. The last step is giving it form.”

She paused to brush some hair out of her face. Her eyes shifted over to Melanie. “Anyway, lets ring the bell!” Alice wore another devilish smirk and quickly got up to take a look at the giant metal object that hung between the pillars, supporting the roof. “Do you know the rules for how many times it hits for certain events?” To say the least Alice was not a very devote church goer, which was why she had no clue about the topic, but she really wanted to ring the bell.

Other than being a bit crazy she had no particular reason to do it. “Like how many times for a wedding? Or do you just ring it as much as you can?” With a clueless look she eagerly awaited the other girl's answer, trying her best to keep her urge to just start banging the bell in check.

Melanie noticed it wouldn't be so easy to get under her skin like this; the redhead shrugged off her flaterry which albeit genuine, was significantly embelished. It's okay, she didn't mind a challenge, quite the opposite: It just made the spoils taste so much sweeter. For now she eagerly paid attention to her information, a kind of lesson Melly had longed for good while, but never recieved. The process she used to use employ abilities consisted of releasing the aura, containing, strengthening and then giving it form.

"I understand the last part, but I guess I've being doing the first three on instinct...", she commented knowing that when it came to give form she split her aura into physical and spiritual portions, and that's where she drew her power from.

Then the girl headed off to ring the church bells. This would draw a lot of attention to them, so they wouldn't be able to simply hang around there for much longer afterwards. Then Alice asked if she knew how many times you had to ring the bell, earing a shrug from Melanie who covered her ears:

"I have no idea, so just ring all you want.", Melly shrugged and braced herself for her to get started, leaving only a warning, "...But once we do that, we'll have to high tail outta here like there's no tomorrow!"

“Well okay, here we go!” Without any restrains Alice stared banging her fist into the bell, blood shot from her hand and the bell got thrown around, releasing a loud ring. She just laughed as she already prepared to answer the swinging back clock with her other fist. For a few hits she treated the bell like a punching bag.

After four strikes the bell swung back so hard that it almost threw her of the tower. Laughing loudly she barely held onto the edge of the tower, looking up at the others girl, admiring her shiny black hair in the sunset light. Her knuckles were covered in blood. “You should try it too, its fun.” The bell was still swinging back and forth wildly and overshadowed Alice's mad laughter with its sound.

“Its to die for.”
With those words she suddenly let go of the tower, falling backwards out of Mel's view, obviously keeping it a secret that she had already secured her footing on a window ledge below. Even Alice was not crazy enough to kill herself after something like punching a bell. She was looking forward to spending the next few days in Zaban with her new friend.
